Bytecoin supports the following platforms: Windows, OS X, and Linux.
To download the wallet visit their official website https://bytecoin.org/
Click > Get Wallet.
Syncing with the blockchain can take time but here’s a possible way to get it directly through a website and integrate it to your wallet. https://blockchain.bytecoin.org
Depends on your Windows version you can download either 32 bit or 64 bit. Once you get to know which version of Windows you are using download and right click > Extract to the zip file.
Once you’ve extracted the wallet make sure you open it. A windows firewall pop-up message might show, Click > Allow access for the wallet to start syncing.
Once the wallet is finished with syncing. Don’t worry it won’t take 5 years to sync it. It will take a while.
Once it’s finished syncing we need to encrypt your wallet.
To do that click on Settings > Encrypt Wallet.
Make sure you type a complex password, containing symbols, characters, uppercase, and letters.
Once you are ready to move on click > OK.
After that, we need to backup our wallet.
To do that click on File > Backup wallet make sure you save it somewhere safe, I would highly recommend saving it on a USB.
To send coins, Click > SEND BYTECOINS on the left side.
Make sure you type the address of the recipient, amount of coins you want to send and click on Send button.
To receive coins, click > COPY ADDRESS
Send it to the person that wants to send coins.
To keep track of all transactions, click > TRANSACTIONS
All the transactions that you have made will be listed, whether they are sent or received.
