Once you click on Download Wallet it will show 4 wallet versions, Windows, MAC, Linux and Android (Coinomi)
Select the one that corresponds with your operating device.
Click on Windows logo, download and save the file on your computer.
Right-click on the file then select Extract Here using Winrar.
Once the file has been extracted Right click > Run As Administrator.
If you have enabled the firewall, it might pop additional window that will need from you to allow access in order for the wallet to fully work.
Once we are done with that the wallet will open and it will look like this.(There’s no need of any installation or anything). Wait for it to sync. Usually it takes 10-15 minutes to sync.
Once the wallet is fully synced you will notice in the bottom right corner of the wallet a green mark. That’s an indicator that your wallet is successfully synced. If you hover the mouse over the green mark it will tell you that the wallet is up-to-date.
Once we are done with that, click on Settings > Encrypt wallet
Now this is really important part because without this you won’t be able to send funds and it secures your wallet. Please write something really hard to guess, don’t hesitate to use symbols, numbers, upper case. Once we are done hit OK.
Next window will pop up and will inform us what will happen if we manage to lose our passphrase, so that’s why its important to REMEMBER or keep it somewhere SAFE. Just confirm and click YES.
Another window will pop up and inform us what we should do after encrypting our wallet, which we will explain you very soon. Click OK to confirm.
Don’t panic, after clicking OK the wallet will close which means we need to open the wallet again. If you noticed in the bottom right corner of the wallet you will see a padlock icon. That means that our wallet right now is encrypted and locked.
If you want to change your passphrase you need to click on Settings > Change passphrase.
Next window will pop up and ask you to enter your old passphrase and type a new one (twice). REMEMBER, each time you change your passphrase you need to backup your wallet.
Backing Up Wallet
To do that, go to File > Backup wallet.
Save it with whatever name you want and I would recommend you to keep this file on your USB or somewhere safe where nobody can find it except you.
To receive coins, you simply click on the Receive coins tab and on the right side you will see an address.Do not share your PM key with anyone. If you want to generate a new address and give a label to it, I would highly recommend doing this just so you can keep track and it will be more organized. For example if you want to receive funds from your dad you can create a New address give a label of Dad. Remember, every time you make new address it will ask for your passphrase to confirm the action.
After making the new address to receive funds from your dad all you need to do is hover the mouse where it says Dad, right click and Copy Address. Use CTRL + V (paste) to send the address to your dad so he can send you some coins.
To send funds simply navigate to Send coins tab. The process is the opposite of what you did for your dad. Instead, he will be sending you the address. After you have received the address, copy and paste into the box where it says Pay to, you can also give it a label to the address so you can save it in your address book or you can leave it empty it’s totally optional, same with Note, in Amount write how many coins you want to send him and in the bottom right click Send.
When you click Send a confirmation window will pop up and ask you Are you sure you want to send the coins to the address listed there. Double check the address so you did not make any mistake or added additional letter because if you send the coins to wrong address they will be forever gone and you can never refund them.
After you click Yes another window will pop up and ask you to enter your passphrase. Once you’ve entered your passphrase hit OK.
To track all the transactions click on the Transactions tab and it will show you all the transactions you have sent and received.
